The large and naturally lit stairway with large landing on each floor leads to 2 bathrooms, 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms, each with balcony and individually controlled electric radiators, clothes hanger and cabinet. Each bathroom provides facility for on demand electric water heater for hot water supply, wall heater, shower, WC and wash basin.
OUTSIDE there is a large private garden - 600 m2 - with specially designed pathway and fruit trees, so depending on the time of year you can feast on the delicious, organic pears, apples cherries, quince and hazlenuts. There is a beautiful strawberry bed and raspberries to be enjoyed and flowers to amaze. There is ample parking for 3 cars. Aalthough there is sufficient parking on the lane outside the house.
THE VILLAGE is a small village with 2 shops. Fresh bread is available each morning, excluding Sundays. The larger shop doubles as a village bar in the evening. Almost anything that is required can be purchased in Dolna Banya, the neighbouring town. Souvenirs are best bought in Borovets or Samokov, a further 10 km but has a splendid daily market, or 1 hour drive to PLOVDIV. For winter sports enthusiasts Borovets has it all. With 40 km of ski runs for all abilities - beginner to advanced. All ski and snowboarding equipment can be hired and lift passes purchased at very reasonable cost in Borovets. Multilingual instructors are available for hire hourly, daily or weekly. The cost compares very favourably with the Alpine resorts in Western Europe. In addition there is horse riding available. The larger hotels offer swimming pools and all usual leisure facilities. For summer months a luxurious golf and leisure club at Ihtiman, with excellent sports and horse riding facilities.

Bulgarian National Bank to restrict mortgage loans as of 2021, 23/09/2021
The Bulgarian National Bank has taken a decision to restrict mortgage lending. The Board of Directors has decided to increase the capital buffer for banks' risk loans from 0.5% to 1% from 2021. The measure aims to ensure that vaults have sufficient reserves to cover losses on non-performing loans. As a rule, the buffer is increased when it is necessary to "cool" a large increase in credit. The price of arable land in Bulgaria has risen by over 47% for 6 years, the National Statistical Institute reported. In 2014, the average price was 362 euros per decare and in 2020 it was 533 euros. The biggest rise is seen in the southeastern region of the country - over 79%. Agricultural land there used to be cheaper, which made it attractive to investors. [read more]
